Tanya Took the Hard Road to Heartlessness...

After I put my ex husband through college, we divorced. He won custody of our son, (telling him 'The reason mommy left was becasue she was tired of being your mommy') our house and everything in it. 4 months later Child Protection Services took my son out of the home. The bank foreclosed on the mortgage (I had made the last payment) and he defaulted on all of the credit card loans.

Getting my son out of foster care took 1 year, and 10,000 dollars. My ex pays no child support, signing a Release of Parental Responsibility. He filed for bankruptcy and stuck me with 18,000 dollars of unpaid credit cards, and his student loan. (He is self-employed and not subject to garnishment)

He has remarried (I sent her a sympathy card for their wedding) and considers all of his previous responsibilities to be (exact quote): "Part of my former life."

I hate him for the pain and hardship he has caused me. I will also never put up with half of the BS from anyone else that he gave me.

I am not bitter, nor a man hater, just preferring to think of myself as a Bitch (Being In Total Control of Herself) who is realistic.
