...after twenty-one years of life, I've come to these conclusions:

The popular media is full of clichéd, worthless, brain-washing shit about love and how men and women operate. It commercializes stereotypes and spoon-feeds them to the audience as if that's how society really works, pandering to the insecurities and desires of the audience. Ratings go up, merchandise sells… Which is why most TV shows, magazines and movies repulse me, and I preach the TRUE prerogative of the media - maintenance of the status quo.

Many guys I've encountered are weak and insecure, fueled by male pop culture, which teaches its young men that they absolutely have to get laid - even if whiny psycho-fucked head cases are the only people they can get to sleep with them. Then they become contemptuous of "girls" and bitch about all women being psychotic drama queens who want to date only asshats. If a man falls for that poison, he's not worth my time, and I say so. Conversely - but almost worse - if he's a maladroit "Nice Guy(tm)" he can forget about ever having a real conversation with me, much less seeing me naked.

Many women need to grow a spine and see a shrink for whatever "daddy issues" they have. In my time as a college student, I find that one of the most disgusting sights is when beautiful women act like twelve-year-olds. "Dustin was so cute. I wanted to marry him." (seriously) For the love of Jesus on roller-skates...didn't they grow out of the teenybopper phase around the last time that the Backstreet Boys had a hit??? Distinguish love from gooey hormones...it's not THAT hard. And it's not that hard to realize that men don't think or feel the same way that women do. It sucks to live daily in the name of making an impression on college dudes whose multiple-choice answers on tests are much longer than any thought of which they are capable, I'm sure...and I'm a firm believer in BRINGING THESE GIRLS BACK TO FUCKING REALITY.

Actually, I'd almost give my clit to actually witness some of these people think at all.

Almost.

(There are a lot of decent people in the world...but the rest give their colleagues a VERY bad name.)
