I accept no excuses, tell no lies, and take no prisoners. I have dealt with far too many people who felt everything in their life was beyond them, and that the men or women in their lives suck/bosses suck, etc. When my advice is, "Dump him or her/find a new job. Take control of your fucking life, and accept that you are your own biggest problem." I am often met with looks of horror. I have lost a few friends because of this, but that's cool. The friends who I have helped far outnumber the ones I've lost, and I don't need people like that in my life anyway. I'd far rather spend my emotional energy on people who actually give a damn about their lives, than to allow it to be drained by emotional vampires who ask for advice when what they really want is attention and pity.

If you think your life is crap, suck it up and look at what you are doing to make it that way. Life is yours to make of what you like. No one makes your life hell but you. Once you get over yourself you'll have cleared the largest hurdle in your path.
