This is the place I've been looking for! I began being a Heartless Bitch at an early age when I routinely defied my misogynistic father. Then I became a 17-year-old birthmother who had no choice in a Family Values (defined by men) society and relinquished my baby (now reunited!). Later I became a single mother, struggling in a inequitable socio-economic system. Now, semi-retired, I do volunteer work with two professional men who have benefited from and are the epitome of the white patriarchal system. When I challenge their stance (often), I get called a Bitch. I say thank you and refer them to Mary Daly. Still, I remain an optimist.
