It took me nearly ten years to realize that I had the right to value judgments and opinions based on my world experience, and that it did not make me "shallow, ignorant, backward, weak, old-fashioned, overly-Catholic" or "a Bitch." I question everything, not just what is fashionable to question; I question the motivations of the free-thinkers as well as the stodgy dogmatics. I will tell someone what they need to hear and not what they want to hear, because it is better for them than "polite" social lies - this is why I have a few cherishable close friends rather than tons of shallow acquaintances.

I may not be a nice or perfect person, but I am a good person, in love with and committed to a good man. We both practice BDSM in a compassionate, sensual and loving way, which brings us closer together and strengthens our emotional bonds.
