I find my blood boiling at the sight of a once highly liberated, independent and sexually confident woman suddenly transform into Mother Teresa over night the moment her "Mr. Right" comes along. Once the life and soul of the party she's now content staying at home cooking, washing his pants and discussing how she's never felt so in love "you should really get yourself a man, you're missing out on true love and I'm worried for you. How could you possibly be happy all by yourself?" Closely followed by "John has a friend that works in accounts he would be PERFECT for you! The four of us can go on double dates!" {queue girly scream}... ARGH!

Now don't get me wrong, I'm happy for them, whatever tickles your pickle and all that but I draw the line at being dragged kicking and screaming on a double date with the happy couple and your date for the night who almost always turns out to be some egotistical little shit that thinks of himself as the modern day Lothario, when, in truth he's more like the modern day Quasimodo without the endearing personality... "The bells! The bells!" Mmmm the bells indeed.
