I spent so many years accommodating others and have finally reached the point where I don't need to be liked or loved by everyone. I can still empathize or sympathize with an individual's situation - I will no longer make myself unhappy in an effort to make things better for another. I've been called a Bitch because of my change - why not embrace the title?
