I REFUSE to:

• listen to justifications for complacency
• watch a woman shake her ass to shill for a man and call it 'powerful female sexuality'
• accept that women should not make their own money and thus be given an "allowance"
• adhere to grotesque beauty standards just because some men don't want to be reminded that they too will get old
• make less than a man because, well, I'm a woman.
• give up my identity, career and goals should I choose to get married and have children,
• be softer, quieter, smaller (vulnerable, obedient, ignorant) just because that's what "being a woman is about"
• sit idly by when standing up is the only choice you have

And most importantly, because I have learned through time that when you lose everything, you will always have your body, mind and heart - so you NEVER, EVER give those "things" away without a fight. Thank you.
