I don't believe in participating in anybody's pity party, including my own. I just can't stand the whining. This has always been a problem particularly for other women (and a few whiney men), who's favorite pastime consists of holding each other and crying together. Barf. This has left me with only a select few female friends, which is perfectly fine with me. All the rest accuse me of being a Heartless Bitch, which is also fine with me. There's nothing wrong with having feelings and showing them appropriately, but spare me your emotional diarrhea. Everyone has problems; get over yourself already.

I'm a Heartless Bitch because I choose to live and die for myself and no one else. Not my kids, not my boyfriend, not my parents, not my ex-husband, not my friends, not my boss, not society, not even my cats. I don't require any of them to validate my existence with their own. I want to do what makes me happy first, and to me this means living authentically in everything I do. The bullshit out there is rampant and I'll be damned if I add to it.
