I am intelligent and articulate; I stand up for myself. I look down on weakness, pettiness and those around me that will demean themselves if it means their seat is saved at the cool table. I pride myself in being strong; I don't need anyone to act as my crutch. I realize that being alone does NOT mean that there is something wrong with me, and that being the other half in a relationship does not make me dependent.

I am ambitious, loyal, and I work hard. I also take guilty pleasure in disproving the first impression that if I am young and female, then I mustn't know a damned thing about politics or literature or etiquette or culture.
