I AM SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE TELLING ME HOW TO FEEL ABOUT HAVING A
MAN IN MY LIFE! I love men and I love having someone special in my life. I love
having someone to cook for me, hold me, buy me medicine if I'm sick. I love
having a companion, someone to rely on and be intimate with.
Screw you for telling me that I don't need a man in my life. Of course I
don't need a man. Of course I can take care of myself. Of course I'm comfortable
being alone. I KNOW THAT. I just happen to prefer being with someone and I will
keep looking until I find someone that I truly love and am compatible with. And
if I tell you I don't like being single, don't roll your eyes at me as if I'm
not smart or strong enough to be alone. ANYONE CAN BE ALONE, just like any two
morons can be together.
I don't care what you do. I really don't. You can stay single your entire
life and that's great. Feminism, to me, is about making choices. I don't want to
hear you tell me that I'm wasting my education because I want to be a mother one
day and raise my children. It's none of your business what I do with my
education, or with my considerable work experience.
And can we talk for a second about people who act like assholes just
because they're behind the wheel of a car?? I was stuck behind a car in a very
narrow parking lot the other day. I couldn't go around her and the cars behind
me starting lining up. I started honking and honking and FINALLY she pulled up.
When I drove past her I saw a woman sitting in the driver's seat, cool as a
cucumber, just chilling out... SINCE WHEN IS IT ACCEPTABLE TO JUST HOLD UP
TRAFFIC FOR NO APPARENT REASON?! Stop acting like self-absorbed
assholes!
