I have been described as Heartless because I feel very little sympathy for people who knowingly put themselves in bad situations (i.e. women who date married men, women who stay in abusive relationships, women who refuse to have a plan b solely depending upon a man to take care of them for the rest of their lives). Don't get me wrong, I have had HORRIBLE relationships, but I have learned very valuable, priceless, lessons (luckily, these relationships were in my early twenties -my thirties have been much kinder). I absolutely do not hate men, as I have several male friends, whom I think are tops. It is they who give me hope that there are good ones out there, but I also realize that about 75% are, in fact, douche bags.
The only reasons why I have ever been called a Bitch- I refuse to apologize for the choices I have made in my life (I will apologize only if I have really been in the wrong, but I will not simply say I am sorry to placate someone). I won't talk to a guy in a bar so I am either called a Bitch or a dyke. I am quick to cut a guy off if he does something disrespectful like make plans and change his mind without calling me, but then tries to turn the blame on me saying that it shouldn't matter because we weren't technically boyfriend and girlfriend....basically I have a low tolerance for bullshit.
