Lorna
I am only 17 years old. But to be honest I have had my fare share of
experiences. I had to grow up quickly, because of this I refuse to surrender and
I ''take no prisoners''. It's people, mostly males, that always need
reassurance and this boils my blood. For the simple reason that if you were as
comfortable in your own skin as I can honestly say I am right now, you wouldn't
need anyone assuring you. I feel to get on with life you have to feel safe with
your self. You need to be secure with how you feel and how you voice yourself
before any one can take you seriously. I would also like to point out that
NOBODY is perfect no matter how hard we want to be. If perfection was truly
attainable then only one human would exist. The truth is... to seek out your own
feelings is far better than having a constant cry about it. As soon as something
gets hard, some people decide that they can't deal with it. Unfortunately,
this is usually done in a superbly "manly" way: AKA using bad language
to express something your vocabulary won't allow. Well you know what I say?
Step out of your fucking bubble and fess up sunshine! I haven't lived 17
years playing with my thumbs - I have clearly stated and stood face-to-face
with my demons. I address them. Then you know what I did? I decided not to fix
something that wasn't broken. I know no one can break me. I can be cracked - I'm
not made from stone. Understanding I'm human has helped me face my bad parts.
Learning how to express them in a decent way is what makes me a better person. I
try hard and grab life by the balls because if I don't, no one will waste their
time doing it for me.
I have the ability to get my point across, not via mindless jabber but by
speaking to a person in a way best suited to them. This does not mean I will
make exceptions or excuses for a person's behaviour. But I try to let some see how to get on the path to help themselves. I'll tell it how it is and not beat
around the bush without being excessive nor mothering.
