I am a Heartless because I am independent and can provide for myself.
I haven't been this way for long but once I realized that I can do things for
myself I was finally liberated from depression and bad relationships. Heartless
Bitch does not mean that I take advantage of people or think that I don't
deserve criticism or that life should be all about me.
I am a Heartless Bitch because I am not afraid of arguing for what I think
is right. I don't hide my opinions to please people. I'm an activist who has had
to work in a male dominated environment and I have learned not be intimidated. I
do not dumb myself to get male attention.
I am Heartless Bitch because I see everyone as an equal. I do not go into
relationships or start friendships because I see a benefit. I like to get close
to people who don't play games and can handle telling the truth.
I am Heartless Bitch because I am confident. I take pride on my writing and
at times it comes before anything else. I like to challenge myself so I am
constantly reminded that I can set and meet goals.
The world does not revolve around me or a significant other. Life is hard
and sometimes you need a helping hand but not all the time. There are much
bigger things happening in the world (hunger, war, global warming, people losing
their homes, etc.) that I dedicate my time to helping change, rather than
whining and complaining about my life. Or hearing someone else
complain.
