I understand that being a Bitch means being a grown-up. Taking
responsibility for your successes, and just as important, for your failures; it
also means actually learning something from what you do and becoming a better
person. If you don't like your life, your job, or whatever, take stock and find
out what YOU can do to make it better.
I am a Bitch because I decided that I needed to educate myself, put myself
through University and make something of my life. I decided not to be beaten
down by the looks from family members when they hear that "no, I still don't
have any children". What I do have, is disposable income and the time to travel.
I appreciate women with children, and admire the choices that they have made;
but I also appreciate that having children, was not the right choice for me.
I am a Bitch because when I disagree with someone, I tell them so, and I
tell them why. I don't bite my tongue and brood for days, being passive
aggressive, and talking badly about them behind their back.
I am a Bitch because I understand that I don't have to bust balls all day
long to be taken seriously, I don't have to chew glass to be considered tough,
and I get the fact that I can be a Bitch and still show compassion to people,
still find puppies cute and still proudly declare that pink is my favourite
color.
I am smart, I am funny, I am forthright, and I am a Bitch.
