Why am I a Heartless Bitch?

Well, for one I lack sympathy for anyone who stays in a bad situation or relationship when they are fully functioning adults and have every opportunity to leave or change said situation.

Insipid poetry from "nice guys" and "poets at heart" makes me want to stab them in the eye for making me suffer through such drivel. Especially if it personifies women( or men for that matter) in a pathetic Mary-Sue sweep-me-off my-feet kind of role.

Sexism induces a red hot feeling so akin to rage, I've been asked to leave places for raising hell about it.

I can't stand people "trying to take care" of me, if I can't take care of myself, I deserve to land in the pile of shit I made.

I won't "take care" of anyone else, I can't breathe or live your life for you, Suck it up buttercup.

That being said, I will still support my causes. I will still walk in a Pride parade, remembering that a parade won't fix our problems, but maybe it will make people wake up and raise money for a good organization.

I still work at the battered women's shelter, and hopefully will help women who can or want to embrace their inner Heartlessness.

Heartless Bitchery is not a lack of compassion, it's a lack of -sympathy- for fools.
