I live my by life by my own standards. I am independent...not co-dependent. I know the difference between speaking my mind with assertiveness and being down right arrogant. I believe we teach people how to treat us. I expect no more or less than what I give and I give nothing with expectation of return. My life path has not been the smoothest by any means, but I know that the deepest cuts and roughest points of the journey are what sculpt my soul in the most beautiful of ways. I'm a work of art by my own hands.

I seek out friendships with women who are above the "frenemy" line.

Only those who are honest, smart, funny, genuinely supportive and original will do. I seek out the same in my romantic relationships.

I'll tell you what I know, but I'm not afraid to admit I don't know it all. I don't hide negative emotions behind a smile. I'm not, by any means....a good little girl. You know where you stand with me. This is my nature. I'm an open book. It's simply because I live my life for myself and I don't give a rat's ass otherwise.

I don't resent anything I've done or been through, but am grateful that my choices have remained my choices to make.
