As I age (like a fine wine) I find myself with an increasing intolerance for stupidity in its many forms. I have come through various life-altering experiences and through necessity and a gradual enlightenment I believe I am almost a Heartless Bitch - not that there isn't room for improvement!

I have two special needs children and over the past ten years or so have learned how ignorant and ridiculous many people can be. I have also learned that there are many wonderful, understanding people to counteract the arseholes. I am "that bloody woman" at my children's school, as I have zero tolerance of bullies and narrow-minded people, be they students, teachers, parents or headmasters/headmistresses. I stand up for myself and my children and when I am called a Bitch, I take it as a compliment.

I detest being patronised and I don't believe that money equals class or that brains equal common sense. I fight for what I believe in but am prepared to take responsibility for my own mistakes.
