I have always relied on my intelligence, abilities, and hard work to succeed in life. I left home at 16 years old, and have supported myself ever since. I was raised by strong women, and have always believed a woman must have her own career and job skills, regardless of whether she is married or single, a mother or childless. I think there are few attitudes less dangerous than for a woman to believe that she need not be concerned about a career if a man is supporting her.

I highly value, and practice, self-honesty and accountability for one's actions. I refuse to dumb myself down, be less assertive or pretend to be weaker than I am in order to appeal to men. Right now, I am attending university full time. I'm also working to improve my fitness level so that I can join the military and fund the remainder of my education without going in to debt. I'm a great friend, a hard worker, a resilient survivor and fighter, a feminist, and I believe the combination of these things makes me a Heartless Bitch.
