You know, I wanted to say thanks for the site, and nominate my mom as an honorary member.

She'd probably flip over to hear me say this, but what a role model! Went back to college at the age of 35. Graduated at 42 (with honors.) Got a masters at 57 - in math - with honors.

Raised five children.

Kept an Irish husband in line. Loved him madly and still does.

When people say I look like my mom - I'm flattered. Not only because she's beautiful, and grows more so each year, but because she's accomplished in her own right.

She's determined, smart, and funny; whining has never been part of her lexicon.

Unfashionable to nominate your mom? Perhaps. But my mom has all The Right Stuff to take over the world. Instead, she took control of her own world.

Elaine Agnew, as I graduate (at the age of 36 with a masters degree, earned at night kinda like you,) I tip my cap to you.
