I'm a Heartless Bitch because I am not hesitant to voice my opinion or talk above a whisper for fear that it is not "ladylike". I'm not afraid to disagree, but I'm also not afraid to agree because I want to. I refuse to associate with people who assume that other people agree with them simply to be "cool like them", and then get shocked when these same people disagree with them once in a while.

I am not afraid to pursue a career in relativistic heavy ion collisions (rhic) just because it is male-dominated and there is not yet enough "girl power" in this field. First of all, it's WOMAN power. Secondly, if woman power is lacking, then *I* will provide some! These men do not intimidate me.

I am also a Heartless Bitch because I admit and learn from my mistakes, and I expect the same from others. I move on with my life with a new wisdom, and I don't whine about past mishaps.

Finally, I reject the idea that body size or the number of boyfriends a woman has had should be a symbol of her status, and I dislike women who conform to this notion. I myself am naturally thin, and I cannot stand it when other women, especially of my age group (early 20's), feel jealous because I could comfortably fit into a bikini. I don't care about whether my figure is attractive, and I cover myself anyway. I just care that I'm healthy. I've never had a boyfriend, I'm happy with my life and the way I dress, I'm PROUD of it!
