(a) I don't put up with stupid people. It doesn't matter if you're
an idiot on the street who has just walked into a wall, or that jackass
in my French class who has asked for the thirtieth time
"So...what does an adverb do?"- I have no problem pointing out
the fact that you're an idiot. (b) I don't put up with intolerance,
hatred, racism, sexism, and disrespect from anyone. Nothing pisses
me off more than people disrespecting each other. I am absolutely
revolted when men turn women into sex objects, women turn men into pigs,
people turn another race into idiots, or someone shows a complete &
utter lack of respect for a gender, race, or person. I may be bitchy,
but I do have respect for pretty much everyone. Except really big
idiots. The thing is, there's a hell of a lot of people out there
who don't like intolerance, racism, etc., but when faced with a
friend or acquaintance or random person who thinks it's *funny*, or even
worse, *acceptable* to behave like a jackass & hate someone based on the
fact they are black, or a girl, or whatever, they don't actually
do anything. I've been called a bitch on several occasions,
simply because I let people know, in no uncertain terms, that I'd have
to kick their ass if they didn't shut up right now.
(c) I have no
problem being completely and brutally honest with people. Which (I
don't think) is a bitchy thing. Maybe it's just the manner that I do it
in, or the fact I whip out my mastery of Catullus in order to get my
point across. Whatever the issue, I have no problem using the powers
that are Bitchiness to get my point across.
