I do technical support and every day I have to listen to comments like "Honey, could I talk to a tech" or "I didn't think you were a tech, I thought you were the secretary- you know, the whole male/female thing?". The satisfaction of blowing these idiots away with knowledge and ability is great but what these people really need is a dramatic wake up call.

It's not 1950! Women aren't limited to the field of secretary or housewife! I don't have to pretend that I don't know how to do anything valuable or not stand up for myself just to satisfy their egos and their appreciation of submissive, dumb women. It's just as bad when I ask a woman to open a control panel on her computer and she says "Oh I don't understand ANY of this, I'll have to wait until my husband gets home. HE knows all about this." I usually tell them that the only way to learn is to try but they're more concerned with tending the children and minding the kitchen. As long as people like those pathetic women and small minded men are around, the need for bitches will remain.

I have no sympathy for helpless or brainless people. We've all got choices, and they choose to lead boring, fruitless lives with no room for personal growth.
