I'm single. By choice. I can't stand it when guys come up to me and
say something along the lines of "You need a man to take care of you"
First of all, I don't need anyone to take care of me and if I did, it
wouldn't be YOU.
I hate it when guys refuse to let you pay for the check with a line like
"Oh no. I'll take care of it. You don't have to worry about it".
Obviously, if I offered to pay, it means I am not worrying about it.
They will just take it and pay, refusing to even let me give them money
to make it Dutch. I am not helpless. I have a job. I can pay my own way.
They need to get a clue. I also really hate women who give me pity for
being single, as if it's some kind of fatal disease, and I only have so
much time for the cure. Those are the women who try to set me up with a
friend of theirs, on the basis that I'm "lonely". Here's a hint,
children: I'm not.
Another thing that drives me up the wall is women who
claim they are "trapped" or "stuck" in abusive relationships. You're not
"trapped" unless you are physically chained to the wall. And don't whine
about "the children". Take them with you, it can't be good for them
growing up in a house with that going on. And don't come crying to me
saying, "Well, I left him, but he promised to change now". Yeah. I've
heard that one before. It gets old. Fast.
I wear what I wear. If it is
not "feminine", oh well. I refuse to change my style of dress for any
man, and I don't understand why others do. I also can't stand the little
pathetic helpless women who deliberately try to appear even more
helpless and pathetic than they already are just to attract a man. "Oh
please, Mr. Big Strong Man, I am so small and helpless over here. Can't
you help me out?" Please. Gag me with a pitchfork. I'm just waiting for
stupidity, immaturity, and patheticness to become executionable
offenses. Until that day, I will have to be satisfied with great
organizations like HBI.
